Sri Lanka inns –

Ov 1: Kaushal Perera is on fire from the off, taking 24 runs off Swart.
Ov 2: Mudasser Bukhari bowls the second over, but has a shocking start with four wides. Another six and four comes off the bat off Perera – 34 off eight balls – and he has to retire. Bukhari ends the over with two dot balls and a single. SL 41/0.
Ov 3: Peter Borren has chances missed off his bowling twice, with the ball falling between fielders, and managed to peg back the scoring rate. SL 56/0.
Ov 4: Chamara Kapugedara brings SL back into the fold with a six off Alexei Kervezee, and Jehan Mubarak follows it up with two fours after missing a dot ball. He finishes off with a six over extra cover. SL 77/0.
Ov 5: Peter Seelaar bowls the final over, and Kapugedara takes 24 off his first three deliveries. He then eased it over square-leg boundary for six, and with this next hit – a six over the wicketkeeper’s head – Kapugedara retires (36 off 11). 26 runs off this last over – SL 107/0

Netherlands inns –

Ov 1: Kulasekara starts off well, hitting the pitch hard, conceding only four off his first four deliveries, but Stephan Myburgh managed a six and a single off the final two balls. NED 10/0.
Ov 2: Mubarak concedes two massive sixes to Myburgh, both disappearing out of the small ground. NED 38/0.
Ov 3: Two more sixes from Myburgh sees him retiring (34 off 12), and Netherlands need 56 off 16 to win. Sachith Pathirana however, bowled three great deliveries and the batsmen can only gather four runs. NED 56/0.
Ov 4: The most experienced bowler of the SL attack, Kaushal Lokuarachchi, takes charge of the penultimate over, but the Dutch batsmen take 14 off the first three. Kervezee retires on 32. A dot ball and a single pulled it back for SL. NED 77/0.
Ov 5: Netherlands need 31 to win. Kapugedara to bowl. Michael Swart has the responsibility – a straight four and then a six over extra cover. Another six, and Netherlands need 9 off two. Swart sweeps for four. But the last ball is in the block hole and only a single results. NED 104/0.
Result: Sri Lanka won by 3 runs
