In most occassions saved by the first few scoring players in the team.
These not so consistent, low performing players taken to the team on favouratisms (in the places of most valuable players) are exposed (that they cannot be depended upon), when the top players comming before them failed to score. Eg. Asia Cup T20, India Vs SL 2009. One wise guy said they select only 8 players. The remainder are selected not on merit but on other grounds the selecters/captain know best.
