I vote - AFTER 2011 WORLD CUP

Defnitly will come handy for Srilanka in 2011 WORLD CUP. He can make big difference anytime on sub continent pitches.

Please add a proper title to the poll. Not something which cannot be understood.

And whats with the irrelevant tags you've added in connection with this poll?

I was going to say the same.
This title is very misleading. It implies that Sanath Jayasuriya has already "Retired", which is not the case.

The title should read as " Should Sanath Jayasuriya retire from all format of the game"

I believe that we have had several polls along the same theme anyway. Cannot see yet another poll adding value to the site.

Obviously you are not a cricketer or some one who'd like to see SL doing well.
T athe alst triangular tournament & IPL he did pretty badly. Here too he was completely out of touch with slow reflexes which does catch up with age. Won't be surprised if this was a poilitical appointment. Otherwise the management needs to be blamed for his inclusion despite his poor form. Also the poor choice having won the toss by Sanga which didn't help SL. Sanath was the worst captain as well when he couldn't defend 62 runs Vs England at Lords when he was the captain.

smart thinking. keep betting for him to fail;eh!!
& to be included in the team upto 2011 World cup with political push

by coulnnot defending only 62 runs how come he become the worst captain?no captain could have defended 62 runs be it in tests, odi or 20-20 .yes presently he is out of form which is a concern for our team.but during his international career he was a great captain and even a greater player.

Telling words by Shane Bond when announcing his retirement
"I don't want to compromise my standards just for the sake of prolonging my career".Are you listening Sanath?

Well I feel that Sanath himself has to decide whether his current performance is doing any good to the team & ask himself whether he can do any better than what he's currently doing.

But in the best interest of the SL cricket I feel that SL cricket authority should groom a player for him for 2011 world cup & future. Also they have to work with a pool of members play for the next 5 to 10 years to be able to play competitive cricket in the coming years.
