I think it will be Thirimanne & Jeewan. coz whatever happen, Kapu won't be dropped. Kapu has unbelievable talent which we cannot see, but Mahela and Selectors can. So Kapu should be a permanent batsman even in the test side. Therefore two to be out, are Thirimanne and Jeewan Mendis :) thats da only solution for this crisis. Oh Kapu... Please save our cricket.. you are the son of God who came to save our cricket
Tharanga should drop before kapu.

how about we go with both of them and 2 specialist bowlers(who can bowl at the end)and become the chasers regardless of the pitch conditions like we did in arjunas era, all thiri, mendis and mathews are great finishers

This is a really interesting and definitely a tough question to be answered by the selectors...
IMO both these players should be in the team and Chandimal is the one who should be dropped to make room for Thirimanne. Actually Thirimanne clearly can accumulate runs at the top of the order and he is a consistent performer unlike Chandimal.
Another thing is Thirimanne's technique is far better compare to Chandimal. When Chandimal is going for a big shot, he always use bottom hand and ball does not go much distance and instead it goes to some fielder. But when Thirimanne plays big shots he can always clear the ropes without putting much effort and I'm really happy that he plays for Ruhuna Royals in the SLPL.
