I totally agree with the fact that Mathews has to start playing the consistent role instead of a performer in only high pressure situations. However I think that the Chandimal century criticism was quite unfair as it was a selfless act that put him straight in the line of criticism for the future betterment of the team -one could say (showing that he isn't the egocentric person you portray him to be) :P After all a century at Lords could be quite the confidence booster for a youngster. Sanga and Mahela looked extremely pleased that he did so and I'm sure he would have changed gears if the situation became critical- which it was close to but didn't. Nevertheless, if I were Mathews I would really listen to this because it's excellent constructive criticism. How can you rely it to him though?
