Don't tell lies. Young players hang out together. Not with seniors. Sanath normally busy with womens while in the tour. Young players hate sanath for not leaving. See fbuk profiles of young players like Angelo etc. They are fans of Mahela, Sanga not that aging ape.

Mahela has been inconsisitent in ODIs but I doubt u had dug enough to say sangakkara has been inconsistent in ODIs. After the 2007 world cup his average has been 37.51 (one run better than his career AVG) and SR has been 77 (2 runs ahead of his careerSR )with a better Standard Deviation and he is ahead of every other player in the team.
What about Sanath? His average after 2007 world cup has been 26.84 (6 runs less than his career avg) but with a better SR (4 runs ahead of his career)which is not significant due to his average.
So who has been inconsistent?????It's a pretty simple question to answer based on unbiased objective statistics.
Sanath had every right to contest but it's pretty sad he could not take a leaf out of Arjunas book. Arjuna & Hashan entered politics after they retired from cricket and they did not mix things up to. Sanath did it in the worst possible manner. He even used the sri lankan cricket Tshirt for his election campaign which is very unethical.
Regarding the seniors issue..I'll first talk about the issue with vaasy. His performances on the field from 2008 in all aspects were appalling until this IPL and he truely deserved to be left out and there were not many who shouted out a loud when they dropped him. Everything should be based on performances and not on seniority.Based on performances vaas deserved to be left out until this IPL but from now on with respect to same criteria he must be in the team and lets see what they are gonna do with him in the future and we can't get in to conclusions.
How many young talented openers should be deprived in showing their colours due to sanaths presence in the team without making a significant contribution ????????????? What are u smoking to say that Sanath should be allowed to play in the team as long as he wants?????Noone is indispensable in the team. It's all based on performances!I would have backed up Sanaths inclusion in the squad had he scored at least 40 odd runs in an IPL match which he could not do.

Lets see whats gonna happen in the future. I'm sure irrespective of performances sanath will be in the squad as long as he wants
