Sorry Ishan could not post the full article because of copyright issues.
In fact, I am not even sure about posting pictures here.
)
But surely they cannot object after the free exposure on the site (by mentioning "Living" mag here so many times with these pictures
The article is written by one of the "Living" contributing editors, Yamini Sequeira.
If you want to e-mail their editorial department on editorial@lmd.lk, you might be able to get a copy of the full article?
Or get a relative in SL to buy a copy of the mag, they still have them in Keels super markets.
As for the babies, can't tell yet who they look like.
But the one mauling the Lion (are they stuffed toy lions?) must be the baby girl. lol. Looks very feisty.
The one holding the cuddly toy seems "very Sangakara" analyzing what's going around.
rly sweet babies
hey SMSD,
I had a friend of mine go to several stores in colombo to find the magazine and they were all sold out.do you know any place that still might have it?

Oh! the mention in the Island Cricket seemed to have boosted their magazine sales
.
Try Beverly Street (fashion store) or Vijitha Yapa book shop in Crescat.
They may still have them, Keels supermarkets don't have them anymore.
If still no luck, here is the phone number of the editorial department: 94 11 2672017, or 94 11 2672018
e-mail, editorial@lmd.lk
Marketing department can be contacted on : advertising@lmd.lk
Normally, for any magazine, you can request back copies by contacting publishers. Price of the magazine was about Rs 300/= I think, you will have to pay extra for back copies, but it won't be that much.
This is January/Feb 2010 issue. We are still in Jan.
If there is enough demand for it, they may print another edition. It's not that difficult or costly for them I think.
Everybody who wants a copy start contacting the the publisher, Media Services (Private) Ltd folks.
You can find the mag in Arpico Nawinna
