Its no secret SL's prefered and better performing option is one day cricket but I am surprised that is better than India's but the record doesnt lie I guess.
What this also shows is SL really needs to get its test cricket sorted and its a mindset issue first and then an ability issue. I reckons its to do with the local cricket standards which are below par and club level. It's also important to recongnize how limited over cricket narrows the gap between teams from test cricket - SL were no where in the tests and had a decent chance of winning the one day series highlights this point.
Patience and consistency are the key factor I feel. The SL batters just dont seem to have the patience to occupy the wicket and fight for test runs while the bowlers dont seem to be able to consistently bowl a decent line of lenght. In one day cricket this doesnt hurt the way in test cricket.
