Sri Lanka Cricket to halve its staff

COLOMBO: Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), the local governing cricket body is set to reduce its staff by more than a half, Parliament was told on Wednesday."Permanent staff number is 25, while 226 have been employed on contract basis", Aluthgamage said.

They should also slash the wages and benefits of the executive committee too if they are really keen on austerity measures, or find individuals willing to work in an honorary capacity.
