Read this from October last year: http://www.islandcricket.lk/news/7628100...
They wanted $2.75 million for the TV rights, and looks like no one was interested.
Now its in the hands of a company in which the Secretary of SLC is the CEO?? Isn't that usually grounds for termination and a fraud investigation?

Thanks for the info, Hilal. It's definitely grounds for termination, and has to be investigated for fraud, but SLC and this government work on a completely different set of rules.
I have sneaky feeling this deal had the blessings of politicians or at least the sports minister knew about it but had no objection.
If I'm not mistaken Namal Rajapakse is involved with CSN - a major share holder, but I'm not sure?
