The cash-strapped Sri Lanka Cricket has resorted to using the inferior quality Grace Leather ball, instead of the costly Kookaburra ball for the inter-club four day games. According to SLC sources, the CEO made the decision following lengthy discussions.

and thats how they propose to develop the game in the country, first the reduction of Tests and now this.
Instead of reducing the unnecessary expenses at the board, they have begun a campaign of destroying SL's cricket future.
cricket board is paying phone bills, petrol and all kinds of other benefits for the committee members and paying them big allowances and they want to cut costs by doing stupid things like this! tell the ceo before he comes up with more stupid ideas to work for free specially in such a time of crisis!

I have no idea about this 'Grace ball', but I can see SLC is spending huge amount of money without any responsibility. Now people who are responsible (Mr. Somachandra de Silva headed cricket board) for this bankruptcy stay without any inquiry.
recently they spent millions for Mr.Haroon Lorgart and he came with the fact we all knew.
I have a doubt on SLC, whether they are acting for the development or the opposite.
