Six applicants for Sri Lanka head coach job

Sri Lanka Cricket has received six applications for the job of head coach as the deadline closed on Sunday, SLC's acting CEO Ashley de Silva has said. Current coach Graham Ford will vacate the post due to family reasons when his contract expires in January, meaning Sri Lanka will have a new coach..

@Dinith Stephen Fleming have coached only one format of the game , so i don't think he will get it ..i think SLC will go with Peter Moores

SL has always worked better with 'low profile' coaches(Whatmore,Moody,Bayliss,Ford) but no so well with 'high profile' coaches(Sobers,Yardely,Dyson), so i would go with Farbrace. he already knows the culture and players as well

well i think i was wrong to suggest Peter Moores , looks like he's having a bad history as a coach .. so yeah like UC7 said , they might go with Farbrace.

Yes, Paul Farbrace should get the job. will be nice if Romesh Kaluwitharana given the batting coach position.
