Russell Arnold calls for overhaul of Sri Lankan Test team

FORMER Sri Lankan batsman Russel Arnold has called for an overhaul of the side immediately following the Sydney Test, saying their ageing stars deserve to seek the paydays of rich domestic Twenty20 deals and new blood must be introduced.

totally agree with Russel, let the old guns retire, give opportunity to young guns, let the retired guys play IPL,BBL etc. and they will get only half-contracts and thus only paid half the amount by SLC, while younger players get full contracts and get paid more by SLC. And everybody's happy. No need to cancel test series either!
