Since the end of cricket World Cup 2011 Sri Lanka had a very poor run in the 50 over format. chandimal could be d next kapugedara if he doesnt put sum serious thought in to his batting, anyway its time fo sri lanka 2 let go of dilshan and mahela, bt dats only if they care bout the future of their cricket, otherwise its ok, those two can b d next jayasuriyas!

Bench strength has always been an issue for SL but the current bench strenght is a major concern. Another issue is the bench strenght cannot be assessed with inconsistent opportunities. The final issue is does SL have the right players on the bench. Take for example Dilhara - how long has this guy been on the bench but done nothing with the opportunities he has got. Chamra Silva was another. In reality the Indian team is an awfully strong team and the conditions dont affect them and SL had to be at their very best to beat them
