yeh i was hoping for a starcricket bid too :-/ . Then again how many 'decent' cricket broadcasters are there around the world? There s Channel9(probably the best of the lot) for Aus, Skycricket for UK, STARcricket for India, Tensport for SA and WI, and Neo(nimbus) for Bangla and Pak! That's abt it

The risks involved with doing business with a organisation like SLC is too great for the best corporate entities. All the corruption allegations, board members who are elected uncontested, massive debt, previous lawsuits and interference from the government will not attract anyone but crooks. SLC needs to be cleaned up and overhauled from ground up. The terrible reputation will take time to fix.

There are only 3 bidders. Neo/Nimbus, Ten Sports,Total sports asia (an agency). Nimbus are likely to be disqualified because of past debts to Sri Lanka cricket - so that just leaves two.
