Mahela’s obsession with IPL

He has created a big enough scene for Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) delaying payments, but not a murmur has come out against the Indian Premier League’s failure to pay him his last year’s salary when he captained the Kochi franchise.

If Mahela is a fan of IPL then what is rex problem ?
aiyo rex, no one is taking you seriously - you have your personal list of favorites and you adore them. and try to discredit the others we remember your comments against Sachithra a few months back.
Cmon guys, thats where the money is. The guy has to earn a dollar
Rex has a few points there.
Why does Mahela credit IPL for the win and then dont blame IPL for the losses.
Same with the comment about Thisara. He has played 1 IPL (or may be 2) and we did not see any sudden improvement after last IPL. and look at his fielding is Mahela going to credit IPL for thisara's excellent fielding?
From what I saw it is clear Mahela enjoys IPL (we all do) (and he looked like he was kissing Shehwags butt on some games)
Another valid point is the non participation of Indian playes on SLPL. When SLC tried to stop sri lankan players going to IPL because of the England tour (this is IPL edition 1) it was Mahela and the seniors who ganged up against SLC. And now Mahela thinks it is ok for India to not allow players becuase of a tour. And the funny thing is not many first 11 players were going to participate in SLPL anyway. So that was clearly back stabbing from India
The more appropriate title of that article should have been REX CLEMENTINE"S OBSESSION WITH MAHELA"
It was there right through Mahela's captaincy during the 2006-2009 period and has raised its ugly and brainless head again.
Your have REX obsessing about Mahela, Channaka and the rest of the DM and ST fellas obsessing about Sanga and what makes this entire fiasco so halarious is that these chaps who spout out rubbish day in and day out are given awards for their work 2. Only in Sri Lanka I guess.
