Lasith Malinga fit for IPL but not Test series in England

The primacy of Tests has been called into question again by Lasith Malinga’s decision to withdraw from Sri Lanka’s three-Test series in England because of a knee injury, even though he is playing in the Indian Premier League.

So this means the selectors do not know the difference between a 20over game where a bowler bowls 4overs and a 5 day game where the bowler bowls up to 20-30overs per innings ?????
