ICC should not make direct payments to players - Ranatunga

Former Sri Lanka Cricket captain and DNA MP Arjuna Ranatunga said in Parliament today that the International Cricket Council (ICC) should not directly make any payments to the accounts of Lankan players and asked the Sports Minister to look into how this was done.

Of course, but u know why ICC did that. ICC don't trust SLC. ...rightly so

“The money must be sent to Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) first and dispersed from there otherwise a bad precedent is being set by making direct payments to players”.
The ICC paid what they owed the cricketers. Not hosting fees or anything like that. They don't trust SLC. What's the problem?
Not being able to trust SLC is the problem. Not ICC sending payments directly.
Big Mouth Arjuna Ranatunga never helped the players to get salary from SLC, Now questing ICC.. Wonderful..
