Nishantha, practice what u preach. No one has an iota of respect for you. U were in the most corrut admonidstration we have had and u wetn on 35 overseas trips and have amasses enough wealth and now u re CEO of Carlton Sports against the rules of SLC which forbids u from holding thatpost.

There are some really disturbing points in this article. More than one umpires association? Umpires being told not to favor individuals? Little financial benefit for a job well done?

What about incompetence, corruption, lack of vision etc. Going by this article alone you would think NR is the greatest thing to happen to SLC. when in reality he might be the common thread through multiple incompetent cricket boards so he must be doing something right :) funniy though have to say he might be right about factionalism..

What a joke this is... pot calling the kettle black.
That buffoon, corrupt to the core administrator, Nishantha, is typical of how a political henchman, backed by high-profile politicians, function in our neck of the woods - pass the buck and blame everyone else.
Factionalism is the by-product of know-it-all type politicians and their lackeys at SLC.
The game suffers today because of the policy of dim-witted 'yes' men who don't have the foggiest idea of how to run a cricket board. What can you expect when the President of SLC is incapable of negotiating his way out of a paper bag.
