Kapu is the 3rd highest runs getter in the tournament, he got the highest strike rate (179.64) among the top 10 & have a pretty good average (40.60) too , surely a T20WC call for kapu & tharanga?
Surely Kushan, you need to drop that talk! There's nothing personal with him, but he's unable to show his class at the international level. For the number of opportunities Kapu got, any other player would have piled on runs !!! He just doesn't fit into the Lankan team. There're so many other domestic players who never got the opportunities he's got. So let's hope everyone gets an equal opportunity!
in my opinion who ever perform well in a domestic tournament should get a Sri Lanka A call or a national side call ! age should not matter names should not matter ! so yeah malinda deserve a surprising T20 call more than kapu ! But do we have the other inter provincial T20 tournament before this T20 WC?

kapugedera also got two ducks in six innings, including a first ball duck in the semis-final against colts.
That 86 was against a school level attack. Although Panadura reached the semi-final their bowling is below club standard.
