Cricket stars fume, wait to be paid for Toronto event

“It is not good for Canada and not good for Canada and cricket,” said Sanath Jayasuriya, a veteran player from Sri Lanka who spoke to CBC News about the situation. Jayasuriya said he was to receive $15,000 to play in Toronto, as well as additional funds to cover his flight from Sri Lanka.

he's worried and fumes over not going back to canada to play a tournament when Sri Lankan cricketers havnt been paid their dues by Sri Lanka Cricket which is controlled by the government where he is a minister what a player!
Sanath was my favorite player in SL,he lost most of his populerity becouse of his greed to play as long as he can to make more money,not paying is bad by the canadians thats no doubt,but think about the SL players who did not recieve wages for nearly a year ,they didnot cry as U did,follow captain cool u will win the hearts once again,
