With most of their woes over, following successive series wins against Pakistan, a confident Sri Lankan outfit will take on world champions India, in the first One Day International of the five match series, here at the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Stadium, at Suriyawewa, today.

I hope that Mahela and the selectors haven't forgotten Jeevan Mendis's performance against Pakistan, which was the only chance he got. He took crucial wickets, fielded well and played a very important cameo. They must have him in the playing XI.
