Sri Lanka and South Africa qualify for WT20 Super Eights

Sri Lanka and South Africa have progressed to the Super Eight stages of the ongoing ICC World Twenty20 2012 tournament as a result of their Group C opponents Zimbabwe losing both their group matches.
After Sri Lanka defeated Zimbabwe by 82 runs on Tuesday, South Africa today beat the Zimbabweans by 10 wickets at Hambantota and ensured that Group C's top two sides qualified for the next round.
Zimbabwe are the first team to be eliminated from the tournament.
Hosts Sri Lanka and South Africa will meet for their final group match on Saturday in Hambantota.
