Nathan McCullum leaves Sri Lanka Premier League

New Zealand's Nathan McCullum has left the Sri Lanka Premier League (SLPL) early, according to the tournament's organisers.
McCullum is the second Ruhuna Royals import to leave the tournament citing personal reasons after Shahid Afridi's departure earlier this week.
According to the chairman of Somerset Entertainment Ventures Sandiip Bhammer, Afridi left the SLPL early to be with his wife who is "undergoing urgent emergency treatment in a hospital in Pakistan."
"Mccullum has also excused himself as his wife is due to give birth," Bhammer told the Pakistani website pakpassion.net.
The 31-year-old did not feature in any matches in the tournament.
It is understood that Scott Styris is another overseas signing who has left the tournament midway, although it is unclear why.
