July 4, 2011 (Island Cricket): The Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) has released the audio recording of former Sri Lanka captain Kumar Sangakkara delivering the 11th MCC Cowdrey Lecture at Lord's.
Sangakkara became the first Sri Lankan and the only active international cricketer to deliver the speech.

Very well done Sanga! It brought tears to my eyes and it is a sensational and a motivating speech. We are proud of you and proud of our cricket. No matter what's the circumstances you face after revealing the bitter truth of the administration; all Sri-lankans are with you. Wish the politicians are like you but unfortunately it wont happen.
