Kandamby left out of World T20 probables

Sri Lanka have selected a predictable squad of 30 for the ICC World T20 starting in the Caribbean on April 30.
There are though a couple of surprising omissions with players such as Thilina Kandamby, a fixture against India in last year's Compaq Cup series, missing from the list released by SL..

Udawatte and Chandimal are dif the future hitters of Sri lanka, so they deserve a chance, we wasted giving a chance to oldies like silva and muba who showed nothing.
Mathews Perera Kulasekara Allrounders
Murali Mendis Malinga Thushara Welegedera Bowlers
Surprised no Kulatunga he was a genuine 4 hitter and Paranavithana, he was in the top 5 highest scorers, also handy with the ball, better than chamara silva for sure
My 1st Xi would be Mahela Dilshan Chandimal Sanga Sanath/Udawatte Mathews Perera Kule Murali Wele Malinga
Mahela has been outstanding opening, so should open with Dilshan, Chandimal should get a chance at 3 then 6, Sanga at 4 with Sanath Mathews and Perera Sri Lanka have a good supply of hitters
No need to talk about the bowling department, Kule Wele will do well on Windies pitches, Malinga too Murali will be economical, Mendis magic to teams like nz eng aus sa etc, Perera stable
Fielding is an area we should work on, been abit up and down, esp in India.
We have a good chance this time around, provided the selectors pick my squad lol
