Testing conditions could make for a low scoring affair in second Cricket T20 between India and Sri Lanka

The prevailing weather conditions in Mohali aren't ideal for Twenty20 cricket and could test both teams when batting and fielding. The dew factor and how the wicket will play is sure to worry skippers Sangakkara and Dhoni.

According to Indian media reports, the temperature after dark in Mohali has been no warmer than 9 degrees celcius this week.

Punjab Cricket Association's chief curator told the media on Thursday (10 Dec 2009) that batting under floodlights would not be easy. The wicket is said to have more pace and bounce and is expected to assist the quick bowlers.

They are not conditions in which Sri Lanka have thrived on. While the pace and bounce may assist Sri Lanka's medium pace opening bowlers, none of them, thus far, have troubled the Indian batsman on this tour.

While batting first may be ideal for the team winning the toss, bowling last could present a nightmare scenario for a team defending a low total.

After the devastating loss in Nagpur, India risk loosing the series 2-0.

Team probables:

Sri Lanka: Tillakaratne Dilshan, Sanath Jayasuriya, Kumar Sangakkara, Mahela Jayawardene, Chamara Kapugedara, Angelo Mathews, Muthumudalige Pushpakumara, Nuwan Kulasekera, Ajantha Mendis, Lasith Malinga, Dilhara Fernando

India: Gautam Gambhir, Virender Sehwag, Suresh Raina, Yuvraj Singh, MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma, Yusuf Pathan, Pragyan Ojha, S Sreesanth, Ishant Sharma, Ashish Nehra

If we bat first we can get bowled out for low. If we bat second same. We need to change our game plan and play cautiously or we can be all out fast.
