Lalit Modi's IPL powers to be downsized
April 15, 2010 - 23:24
There seems to be to no end in sight for the Indian Premier League (IPL) Commissioner Lalit Modi's troubles. Sources have told TIMES NOW, that Lalit Modi's powers could be downsized considerably, following the ongoing Kochi team IPL controversy.
Sources say that there is a move afoot to make Shashank Manohar, the current BCCI president, co-chairman of IPL.
This was coming the way he was behaving. He would get the camera crew to always focus on him. In South Africa he would be at the toss! Who the hell does he think he is? IPL is not a success because of him. It was always going to be a success. The BCCI monopoly is the reason it was a success. Modi just copies ideas from other sports and other leagues.
