The Island Cricket Show is produced by Sri Lankan Cricket fans. It is an amateur production.

In this episode we take a look at Lasith Malinga's return to international cricket. Malinga had an amazing 2009 Indian Premier League, we take a brief look back at the memorable moments from the tournament.

In our blast from the past segment, we go back to 1982. To action from day one of Sri Lanka's maiden Test match.

A look back at the 1996 World cup encounter between Sri Lanka and India, which displayed to the world Sri Lanka's devastating display of batting at the start of the innings.

We also take a look back at the career of Sri Lankan batting legend Aravinda De Silva.

In this episode we take a look at Muttiah Muralitharan performing a series of voluntary tests aimed at British TV audiences.

Murali was filmed with several cameras including a 2000 frame per second 4-sight camera. Mark Nicholas narrates the proceedings, and confirms that even with a brace on, which prevented any straightening, an optical illusion creates the impression of a throw.

We also highlight Thilan Samaraweera’s double century against Pakistan from Sri Lanka’s 2009 Test tour to Pakistan.

We end the show with a segment titled ‘Awesome Catches’ which features a special catch by none other Murali himself.
