some good decisions but I don't understand why Chandimal has been given the T20 captaincy.... I mean he hasn't done anything to warrant his selection in the T20 team let alone becoming team captain. If the selectors wanted to manage Mathews' workload, couldn't they have given it to someone like Kulasekara?

I fully endorse the captains and teams. Angelo has to be there though he may not deserve a place and his career can suffer.Dinesh as T20 captain is good as he can learn,
The teams are good but i do not know 2 newcomers and hope not political choices,
Sanath has done aa good job. AS someone said, i tpoo feel 2 of 3 seniors only shud play in rotation to give a chnce to others.
I am hapy Samaraweera was dropped. But Prasanna was even ranked as our best bat in England so why

Prasanna in my view is more of a 'collateral damage' victim, which is very unfortunate for the best gloveman in the world, but someone had to go, especially since so many keeper-batsmen are coming thru the system!

But there s another school of thoughts saying that Prasanna has not yet recovered from his thumb injury, and missed out. So he cud be back for the next series!

Good move this and brave move with Chandi but its time to take some brave steps. I am not convinced with Randiv and reckon Akila should have got that spot but nice to see the selectors getting in some youngsters. I gather some of the selections of the youngsters are questionable but its alot better than sticking with the older players who are fading.
