Our coach likes the AC

When was the last time you saw our bowling coach on the sidelines talking to our bowlers? Australia's bowling coach Craig McDermott, who was good bowler in his time, was spotted on camera talking to his bowlers at third man and fine leg during the 5th One-Dayer against Australia today.
Sri Lanka's support staff are usually in the comfort of an air conditioned dressing room. Why?
Is it not important for coaches, who have access to TV replays, to observe obvious on-field errors and relay that to the player?

Not fair bro. Just because we dont see on TV we dont know if they are not doing it.
cmon, give our coaches a break. if you see our coaches then you will blame them for interference with the players during the game. and what exactly you can do during a game when you have enough time during practise sessions.
also take into count that Aussies, and Brits like spending it out in the sun because they enjoy it and naturally we try to take cover from a tree or (our women) use umbrellas when its sunny. have you see a tourist holding an umbrella because its sunny?

ya agree with "The Slinger" but good point frm Short-Leg
don't be a typical stupid Sri Lankan, that blames others for not having things as expected. We have our own style, way of doing things. Cricketers are not infants to guide ball by ball. Our bowling coaches have been doing good job and thats why we have Malinga, Kulasekara and other young guns. I think it is very easy to comment on things like this,
You should change your pen name to "short-sighted" instead of "short leg"
I like this article. Its a good wake up call for our coaches.
our bowling coach's name is champaka ramanayake. he used to be bowling coach of bangladesh before SL cricket bought him over. ive talked to him over dinner (when he was coach of Bdesh)and he is a very nice man. give him a break, hes doing a brilliant job with our bowlers. its the batsmen that we have to be concerned about.
Typical of Sri Lankan; if Australians do it we must do it.
Given the number of coaches Sri Lanka has- Batting, Bowling, Fielding, head coach, assistant coach..and what not - the boundary line will be crowded if they decide to talk to the players.
Let us concentrate on cricket, nothing but cricket please!
