Arjuna may have his faults, but he is the best of the bad lot. All knowledgeable fans and expatriates feel SL Cricket is doomed and certainly its death knell, if Mahindananda and Dharmadasa whose knowledge of Cricket is only on the surface , continue much longer. They have made an hotch potch of our Cricket with the latest being the sacking of Geof Marsh without an explanation. This has had ramifications and we have become the laughing stock in the media including the world cricket Cricinfo website and the TV and press. Cricketers not being paid is also highlighted. Other firsts are appointment of 5 coaches in one year, and only Board to be bankrupt after a World Cup, captain and coach are selected by the 2 nonnentities Mahindananda and Dharmadasa, resignation of captain and vice captain simultaneously due to political pressure.
These appointments are usually made by committees with cricketing knowledge but alas the cricket committe which included Sidath and Tissera has been disbanded.

lol ...he should have just stayed with MR...then for sure he could have gotten the portfolio.

I guess Arjuna beat Sana to it. Lets just hope if he gets it hes not going to sack the coach again.

This isn't news or a blog...IslandCricket please make another section called Rumor Mill.

News should only come from actual newspapers not gossip sites!

@ Ranjan: "Dogs may bark but the caravan moves on" You use this line almost in every article where people do not agree with you.

Dogs are better comparing to the caravan cows...! Let me re-phrase "Old Cow"

hihihihi - Get a life man...! LOL
