Samaraweera and Jayawardena record the highest fourth wicket partnership in Test Cricket

Skipper Mahela Jayawardena and Thilan Samaraweera piled on the misery on a docile batting wicket at the National Stadium in Karachi. The pair managed to put on the highest fourth-wicket partnership in Tests, breaking the previous record held by Colin Cowdrey and Peter May against West Indies in 1957.

Top batting by the two. Thilan is under rated and a very good test match player.
