Sri Lanka depart for World Cup opener in Hambantota by helicopter
The Sri Lanka cricket team depart the team hotel in Colombo by bus to an air force airbase nearby to board a helicopter on February 18, 2011. They travelled by helicopter to the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Stadium in Hambantota for their opening match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 against Canada on February 20. AFP PHOTO/Ishara S. If I was in the sri lankan team, I wouldn't fly in rusted old helicopter from the cold war era lol ..... at least send half the team by copper the rest by bus ...... that way half the team might survive!
