Mahela's isn't too bad but Samaraweera's stance is really too wide, which is probably why he looks like he has weights in his shoes when he bats. Samaraweera looks unbalanced and has poor footwork perhaps as a result of such a wide stance.

Also, Lara and Ponting have a pretty compact stance as well. It allows you to be on your toes and move more efficiently.
