What is Island Cricket?

Island Cricket was launched in December of 2008. The website is a Sri Lanka cricket site that is partly powered by fan-submitted content.

Cricket fans register free on Island Cricket to share news articles, videos, photos and more. The website also allows fans to create a blog, which gives fans a platform to voice their opinions on Sri Lankan cricket. In addition, Island Cricket has a pool of volunteer writers and columnist who contribute articles, interviews and licensed photos.

The news page is regularly updated by dedicated fans who share links to news articles from external news sites, for the benefit of other fans.
